Jen Parker RVN

Jen studied four years for a degree in Vet Nursing and Practice Management at Harper Adams University. Her veterinary interests include dentistry, wound management, exotics an large animals. In her spare time she enjoy keeping fit, attending the Young Farmers Club (especially the parties!) and has on occasion even been known to jump out of a plane!
Kylie Jones RVN
Kylie started at Ian McConnell’s about six years ago originally as a weekend receptionist. It was through that role and enthusiasm for the job which lead her to undertake an Animal Nursing Assistant course and following on from that she attended college one day a week studying for her NVQ in Veterinary Nursing. Kylie became a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2011 gaining the highest marks in the UK.
Natalie Fitton - Nursing Support
Natalie has been a familiar face at Ian McConnell’s for many years. She has worked with animals since leaving school in Royton and this was the only the job she ever wanted to do. Natalie has done an animal nursing and dog grooming/beautician course and is often called upon to do put this into use at the practice. She lives on a farm with her partner in Diggle and has dogs, horses and cows.
Stacey Barlow - Animal Nursing Assistant
Stacey is one of our Nurse Support Team and in 2010 gained her ANA diploma. Her job is varied and ranges from assisting the vet in the operating theatre and the Consultation Room to arranging nurse clinics and giving advice for clients on a wide range of pet services (such as dental, diet and senior wellness) here at Ian McConnell’s Veterinary Practice. Stacey will be starting her nurse training later this year.
Holimae Bentham and Louise Farricker RVN
Holimae joined the practice in September 2011 as a member of the Nurse Support Team. She lives locally and is pictured with Diefenbaker, the family bull terrier.
Louise Farricker is currently with the practice as a locum veterinary nurse, covering the duties of Jen Parker whilst she is away on a sabbatical break. Photo coming soon.
Aimee Lee - Animal Nursing Assistant
Aimee lives in Ashton and is the proud owner of two dogs, three cats and two rats. Whilst at school she carried out a week’s work experience here at the practice, thoroughly enjoyed it and decided she wanted to be a veterinary nurse. Aimee assists the vets and nurses where needed and carries out other general duties. Having passed her ANA exam with distinction last year Aimee will be starting nurse training in 2012
