It has been a while since we have featured Humphrey on the blog. To be honest, not much has changed! He was “helping” file some papers this week but the sun became too much for him! Now that said, our nurse team held their very success Nurse Awareness Event last Sunday (raising £235.65 for Pennine Pen Animal Shelter) and Humphrey was one of the contestants in the Dog Agility Challenge, organised by Beth and Alice in Uppermill Park, We had lurchers, border terriers, German Shepherds, Collies and even a Great Dane (nearly) was tempted, but NO-ONE cane close to Humphrey’s amazing completion time of 1 minute 14 seconds. We joke, but for a dog with a large frame, heavy on his “Queen Anne” legs, this was a massive feat of achievement and, if nothing else, that’s his exercise routine done for the year! If you want to have a look at his Olympian performance just click this link to the video http://youtu.be/elP1cj9ZTq0
If you haven’t read our comments last week about flystrike, these have since been updated and will be of significance to rabbit owners everywhere. Additionally, there are some new photos as the building work continues well at the library.
