How time flies…

Incredible though it seems it’s been four months now since we move into our new home in the former Mossley Library.  We’ve had a tremendous response from clients and visitors (including a group of Spanish vets!) and of course the staff.  If you haven’t yet seen the practice, or find it difficult to get in, we now have a virtual tour on our You Tube channel which you may find interesting.
A lot has been happening on our Facebook page recently and if, like many, you’re busy and always on the go, Facebook and Twitter are a great way of keeping up to date with news in the practice as it happens but if you don’t use social media, here are a few latest highlights:

If you are receive any means-tested benefit and own a Bull Breed, during March you can have your dog neutered under the Dog’s Trust supported neutering scheme.  Neutered dogs live longer, healthier lives, your dog is less likely to wander off and get into fights and of course neutering prevents unwanted puppies.

Fantastic news!  The practice has been awarded GOLD accreditation as a Cat Friendly Practice.  Huge thanks to Gemma the nurse who has overseen the process and don’t forget to tell your friends that Ian McConnell Vet Practice is the most feline friendly clinic in the area.

The online community where vets, pets and owners come together. Lots of useful information available but we always recommend to see one of our vets if you have concerns about your pet.
